Old log cabin, Fairgrounds Park, BE
Took a walk on the day after Thanksgiving at the Fairgrounds on a bright day near 55 degrees. The park trail was devoid of walkers.

Fall of 2016.
Here I am at Seppman Mill near Minneopa State Park in September.
A 8 yr old Dun named Peanut I purchased in March, 2016. I changed name to Peachie.
I tried to train her myself, it didn't work out. Then a friend, after hearing of my "spill" offered to help.
Kathy trained her in 6 weeks into a cooperative riding horse. She still needs trailer loading help.

Italian Bees, purchased April 2015, produced honey the first year. They are surviving this winter of 2016.
Our first hive was purchased from a BeeKeeper/ mentor.
It did well, and the next hive will be obtained from local Fleet store.
The honey was distributed to area farmers and friends/relatives. None of the honey has been sold.
I rendered the Wax, in February on our kitchen stove. Boiled water and put the Beeswax caps and comb in. When it floated to the top, I skimmed it off and strained it through cheesecloth twice.
I will weigh and post the amounts and photos.

The horse is a workout buddy!
Horse ownership and enjoyment makes for great and enjoyable exercise.
Neigh.
This is Niblet, named for the canned corn produced in Blue Earth, MN, on the farms in the neighborhood and canned at the processing plant in town. Our first trail ride was at the Faribault County Fairgrounds located next to the Green Giant park. Yes we have a statue of the Jolly Green Giant.
Niblet is a small quarter horse mare, about 14h 2in. with a beautiful bay color and one white right hind sock and a blaze. Easy going under saddle, a bit head shy at the hitching post, takes the bit well and gives a smooth ride. We are really going places!
