Italian Bees, purchased April 2015, produced honey the first year. They are surviving this winter of 2016.
Our first hive was purchased from a BeeKeeper/ mentor.
It did well, and the next hive will be obtained from local Fleet store.
The honey was distributed to area farmers and friends/relatives.  None of the honey has been sold.
I rendered the Wax, in February on our kitchen stove. Boiled water and put the Beeswax caps and comb in.  When it floated to the top, I skimmed it off and strained it through cheesecloth twice.
I will weigh and post the amounts and photos.
