Flirt, a border collie, June 2012.

Flirt is the name of our new dog. She has been here 3 or 4 weeks. Early this morning was a good time to let her run off leash for some exercise and to test her call back.  She did what I expected, flushed a rabbit out of the shrubs and chased it around until it found the safety of underneath a building. Then she ran into the grove just to check out some scent. I called her back after a few seconds, because all this happened in a very few seconds.  She was busy and didn't come immediately, but she did come back to me at the second or third call.  We will have to practice this more and I need to remember treats. She is a beautiful dog.
