Learning how to grow and care for my garden in the Master Gardener Course from U of M. Have much to do. Here's the list: Prune grape vines, mulch vines, weed strawberry patch, transplant seedlings and harden off. Till garden soil, test it. Work soil for planting, install raised bed.
Weed and mulch flower beds. Divide hostas, move hostas out of sun in triangle garden. Put in peonies or rubekia.
Writing and relaxing. Combining the organic philosophy with growth. Started blog in 2003 with co-workers to complete a Library 2.0 project.

Mini quilts made at Knock n Sew, Library community room.
A small Holly Hobbie doll from my daughter's collection found in my closet. I had to make her a quilt, then made another larger one for the other doll. I have 5 dolls, two are babies, one 10 inch adult and one 14 inch. And they all need clothes. Sewing project in my future!
Super Sunday Jan. 2012
Last month I made this for Super Sewing Sunday at Michele's. The pattern is called Celebration by Anita, Julies daughter.

Lunar eclipse and limitless possibilities
Waking up on a cold fall day and looking for the predicted eclipse. Finally it is there, only not easily seen from the back door. Put on winter gear for frigid temps (maybe 15 degrees), bring the dog (he can't miss this!) open the camera shutter (it sometimes freezes half open) and run out to the North. I see it, I capture it and run back in to the house.
